周亚平，又名故事马，1961年出生，江苏人，中国语言诗派核心诗人。诗歌作品曾在国内及英国、美国出版与发表，在国内出版有诗集《俗丽》《戏剧场》《红白蓝灰黑黑》《原样：卡通一开始就被定义为荒谬》《在公众》等。2011年当选为《诗探索》中国年度诗人，2014年获首届＂橡皮文学奖＂。

本书是当代中国语言派代表诗人周亚平首部在国内出版的中英文双语诗集，精选了周亚平的100首短诗和一组“电影诗”，由美国著名诗人、汉学家翻译成英文，结合精美插图诠释诗意。周亚平的诗歌充满现代色彩、充满灵气，对当代人的精神处境与丰富内心进行了深入而又引人入胜的发掘，从中可以感受到诗歌语言变化万千的艺术魅力。
