胡芬 女，汉族，人口资源与环境经济学博士。湖北大学商学院教授、博士生导师。中国生态经济学会教育专业委员会副会长，湖北大学文旅产业发展研究中心主任，湖北大学绿色发展研究院秘书长，湖北省科技厅、文旅厅旅游专家库专家，湖北文化建设研究院智库专家，湖北省高等院校旅游管理本科教学指导委员会委员，湖北省通山县旅游产业顾问、贵州省纳雍县旅游发展顾问。
长期在旅游管理专业教学及科研一线，从事乡村旅游和旅游扶贫方面的研究。近年来，主持国*级、省部级等各级纵向课题30余项，主持完成各级旅游规划项目30余项。在国内外重要期刊上公开发表学术论文30余篇，出版学术专著、教材各2部。
