From the perspective of the principal part of schooling, "teachers are the principal part of education, and the status of teachers fundamentally determines the level of education". At the meantime, teachers embrace the highest level of knowledge in the cultural field of school. Every teacher is a small museum of knowledge, a unique cultural individual with a lot of information. To describe from a philosophical view point, they are all single cultural symbol and cultural being. It is easy to organize them into a complete knowledge group and form a cultural community, which is able to duplicate useful knowledge repeatedly, and pass down cultural information and cultural tradition through their unique cultural genetic gene from generation to generation. However, in the process of reproduction and inheritance, teachers are not a simple transfer station, since they do not transfer knowledge or cultural information mechanically. On the contrary, teachers, through the processing of their minds, change or modify the knowledge or cultural information they are going to impart on students. If teachers want to duplicate and inherit knowledge or information, they should construct it in their mind and comprehend it before teaching. The process of teachers' construction of knowledge or information is no different from that of students' way of construction. They are all leamers who should follow the general principle of constructivism. To explain it in another way,learners should actively choose, process and deal with the new knowledge or information according to their own experience. Learners have different experiences,so the interpretation of new knowledge or information they receive may be different.This is the reason why the knowledge or information is changed or modified when teachers duplicate and inherit it. Like the ancients said, "the benevolent see benevolence and the wise see wisdom" , which means different people have different opinions. On the one hand, the modification during knowledge imparting makes it difficult to copy the original knowledge, on the other hand, it creates conditions for teaching or cultural innovation.In this sense, teachers' responsibilities are contradictory. They can either become pioneers of spreading new knowledge and culture, or conservatives or neutrals, which requires teachers to constandy improve their own quality and consciously link their own destiny with that of the country and nation. They should choose knowledge or cultural information from the perspective of serving the development of the country and the nation, carry out scientific research in many ways, give full play to the role of teachers, and highlight the charm and style of teacher culture. At the same time, "as far as teachers are concemed, especially teachers and researchers of professional courses, they must have a deeper understanding of their dual mission, that is, in addition to imparting knowledge, they also have an unshirkable universal obligation to maintain fair public opiruon and act as social conscience". Teachers are often the highest knowledgeable gToup in a country or a region, and they are also the representatives of clean school in a country or a region.It is a fine tradition for teachers to take on social responsibility in China. In the history, a group of scholars of Donglin Academy, who practised personally what one preached, acted as social elites and cared about national affairs, just as Gu Xiancheng's couplet says: "I hear the sound of the wind, the rain and the reading, I care about the affairs of my family, my country and the world." Duning the Anti-Japanese War, a large number of scholars felt that there was no room for quiet study in China, so they took up their pens to publish articles or went to the streets to make speeches to awake the public and defend the country. In addition to teaching, some scholars criticize the current situation and the unhealthy social atmosphere, playing a very good role of teachers as social conscience.
