张锷主编的《英语听力入门3000(4修订版学生用书普通高等教育十一五国家级规划教材)》为《英语听力入门3000》的修订版，在原版基础上增加了访谈、讲座、影视作品等视频材料，以满足全国各地院校日益增长的对视听说结合型教材的需求。通过视频材料与穿那套听力材料结合，可以增强对学生的兴趣刺激，贴近现实中的交际情境，推动传统听力课程像视听说课程类型转化。
