The Development Research Center of the State Council is a policy research and consulting institution directly under China's State Council. Its main functions ere: studying overall, comprehensive,strategic end long-term issues in the national economic and social development and reform and opening up, and providing policy recommendations and consulting advice for the Chinese government.
