孙霄兵，国家督学、全国高校设置评议委员会委员、全国教育科学规划领导小组成员，中国教育发展战略学会执行会长、中国法学会常务理事。中国社会科学院法学所客座研究员、中华诗词研究院特聘研究员。中国人民大学、东北师范大学、华中师范大学、西南大学教授，博士生导师。2014年获中央国家机关五一劳动奖章。

我国的国际教育，在我国的政策语境下，亦称为我国教育的对外开放。新中国成立以后，我国教育开启了向世界先进国家学习的历程。回顾70年我国国际教育即我国教育对外开放发展的历程，充满了艰辛的道路探索和不懈的专业努力，值得认真总结和大力纪念。
