This is the first book to systematically introduce in English the major industries in the Chinese entertainment market and summarize some common Q&As and relevant legal precedents. Some of the fresh content in this book includes topics like legal analysis and theoretical research of intellectual property, and practices such as the introduction of competent authorities and application for qualification certificates. This book is specially designed to introduce the industry rules to: Foreign entities that are in or may enter the Chinese market and cooperate with Chinese enterprises; Chinese enterprises and business owners who are expanding or may expand their interests overseas; and any individual or group interested in China’s pan-cultural entertainment market. It also aims to provide compliance guidance and expectations in managing risks so as to promote business cooperation, market expansion, learning and research, and business communication.
