“职通中文”系列教材参照《国际中文教育中文水平等级标准》和《职业中文能力等级标准》，分为初、中、高三个等级。各等级均遵循“语言和技能相融合”“好学、好教、好用”的编写理念，依据相关职业的典型工作场景、工作任务和高频用语，设计课文、会话、语言点和练习等板块，不断提升学习者在职业技术领域的中文应用水平和关键技术能力，为学习者尽快熟悉和适应工作环境提供帮助。本系列教材适用于在中国企业从事相关专业的各国员工，同样适用于在华留学生或长短期培训人员，也适用于有意向了解中国语言文化和职业技能的学习者。

《市政工程施工（初级篇）》是“职通中文”系列教材之一，适用于在中国企业从事市政工程施工筑路工、管道工、测量放线工等岗位的各国员工。通过本教材，学习者能够用中文进行简单的工作交流，了解市政工程施工的修筑城市道路路基路面、市政管道安装的全流程操作技巧，读懂中文岗位说明书。

本教材在编写过程中，对标《城镇道路工程施工与质量验收规范》、《工程测量通用规范》等行业标准，聘请市政工程施工行业专家把关，调研驻外中资企业，了解企业对从业人员的语言、技能及总体素质要求，将实际工作场景和典型工作任务中的真实语料，重构成符合“零基础”学习者水平的课文和对话。全书共31课，每课包括复习、热身、生词、课文、综合练习（练习答案请至华语教学出版社官网sinolingua.com.cn下载）、拓展、语法和小结等八个部分，同时配有丰富的图片，力求以图文并茂的形式呈现真实的职业场景，此外还配套开发了音频、视频等资源，帮助学习者掌握在职业场景中用中文进行基本交际的能力。

In order to further promote the integration of Chinese language proficiency and professional skills among learners from various countries and enhance their ability to communicate and interact in Chinese in specific industry scenarios and typical work tasks, meet the growing needs of Chinese learners for career planning and personal growth, realize the sharing of high-quality educational resources, and promote exchanges and mutual learning among diverse civilizations, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation under the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with China Nonferrous Metal Industry Talent Center, has organized experts from vocational education, international Chinese education, publishing, and related enterprises to jointly develop the“Access to Vocational Chinese”series of textbooks and supporting teaching resources.

In reference to the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education and the Chinese Proficiency Standards for Vocational Education , the series of textbooks titled“Access to Vocational Chinese”is divided into three levels: elementary, intermediate, and advanced. All levels follow the writing philosophy of“integrating language and skills” and“being easy to learn, teach, and use”. The textbooks are designed around typical work scenarios, work tasks, and high-frequency terms of relevant professions, with sections on texts, conversations, language points, and exercises, continuously improving learners’Chinese application skills and key technical abilities in the vocational and technical fields, assisting learners to quickly familiarize themselves with and adapt to the work environment. This series of textbooks is suitable for international employees engaged in relevant professions in Chinese companies, international students or trainees in China, and learners interested in Chinese language, culture, and vocational skills.

Municipal Engineering Construction (Elementary) is one of the textbooks in the“Access to Vocational Chinese”series. It is suitable for international employees engaged in municipal construction-related work in Chinese companies, including roadbuilders, pipeliners, and surveyors. Through studying this textbook, learners can achieve the goal of conducting simple work communication in Chinese, understanding the full process and skills of constructing urban subgrades and pavements and installing municipal pipelines, as well as comprehending Chinese job descriptions.

The compilation of the textbook was based on industry standards such as Code for Construction and Quality Acceptance of Road Works in City and Town and General Code for Engineering Survey . Experts from the municipal construction field were consulted, and surveys were conducted with overseas Chinese-funded enterprises to understand their language, skills, and overall quality requirements for employees. Real language materials from actual work scenarios and typical work tasks were reconstructed into texts and dialogues that meet the learners’level. It is richly illustrated with pictures to present real work scenarios in a visually engaging manner.
